Grace -- Undeserved Favor

Went for SMU christian fellowship talk yesterday for the first time in four years. Dun ask me what i've been doing in SMU for the past 3 yrs coz i also dun know..haha..

The talk was about Grace. Though i've heard it so many times about the prodigal son, something struck me that afternoon, that was to see others from God's perspective.

How is grace related to that? God knows we fall, He has sent His only son Jesus, to died for us so that whosoever believes in Him shall have eternal life and fellowship with God. Thats God's ultimate Grace for me. Because, through Jesus I can find God, experience God and share a relationship with Him. Thats the most wonderful thing that had happened to me..

The next question that comes will be, so what do we do with this Grace and was given so freely to us? Pass it on! of course! to see others, even knowing they may fail us at times but still continue to trust and believe in them, to give grace..but how?

I'm always at the dilemma, God taught us to trust in Him and not man. But trusting in God will translate to trusting the people around us, because our relationship with God is directly affected by our relationship with man! But when man falls, we get hurt, disappointed and despair. I hate to be in that situation. I've got to pick myself up again. Therefore i avoid the people who expect from me and whom i expect from. Even before they have a chance to hurt me, i put a judgement across and run away with a broken heart.

Is this the way i pass on the Grace God has given so freely to me? No.. in addition, i've become judgemental and bitter..

i dun think God expected me to be perfect. I dun think God know that i'll be perfect thus He created me. So for the countless time i've disappointed God, and God already know it at the time He has decided to create me, why has He still chose to create me? Why has He still chose to save me? If you would ask me, i dun know. If you would search the Bible, it says Grace. For when sins abounds, Grace abounds even more.

Praise You Jesus for your everlasting mercy and grace. Lord, help my insufficence. I claim victory over this struggle of mine in Jesus name! For i've been called with a purpose, that is to be the salt of the earth. I'm a child of God, forgiven and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ! Praise the ever Good Lord!

Man are imperfect, therefore Grace gives Glory to God.
